It is possible to connect with yourself by walking and becoming aware of nature. The modern world can be disconnecting. My path has led me into nature and also deep within myself.

I have always loved the outdoors and from an early age I was curious who and what God could be. I ventured far and wide, travelled, lived and worked in different countries and looked for the divine in music, in meditation and in nature.

I thought that spirituality was private until somebody showed me how the divine can be made present in the marketplace. That is when spirit became more alive for me. Since then I take every opportunity to help to bring together spirit and matter. I studied different systems, methods and practices with various teachers until I found a way that expresses this movement in a very practical way: Bringing Heaven to Earth while Walking.

In my Online Classes I draw on my experience in working as an E-Learning Consultant and Instructional Designer. I am fascinated by the moments when a group of people comes together in naturally supporting each other with what they share, collective intelligence.

Throughout my life my love for nature and the outdoors has gradually grown into a love for the Earth.

In my twenties and thirties I enjoyed camping trips with my friends. Mostly on our bicycles, but also on foot. In 2009, I found myself in Egypt living and working with the bedouin of St. Katherine in Sinai, offering trips into the mountains and deserts.

The seeds for Outdoor Mystic were sown. I sensed that I wanted to create opportunities in which people could enjoy the fantastic nature and also become aware of the connection they have with the land and its people.

In 2016 my meditation teacher told me about the practice of connecting heaven and earth. I instantly knew – this is for me. This practice brings a focus to our experience and interaction with the land while we walk. A wonderful way to bring awareness to the subtle worlds that are present in us and all around us and a way to anchor them at the same time.
